It was my girlfriend's birthday and at the same time our second anniversary as a couple.
However, we were not able to plan ahead of time where to go.
Without any idea on our destination, we consulted the never-failing Mr. Goggle to help us find a great date spot to get away from the city stress but not too far since we only have a day. Not discounting the price of course.
In summary, we considered accessibility, affordability and quality of the place.
We also considered reaching the place via motorcycle to exempt ourselves from long queues in riding PUVs, heavy traffic and all the commuter's stress.
We finally picked Luljetta's Hanging Gardens and Spa because it is just a few minutes away from the metro and the pictures online are nice. Thanks netizens!
So to pay it forward and to cut on the introduction, we are making our first ever blog, inspired by the beauty of Luljetta's and below is our itinerary:
8:30 AM - Travel time from Makati to Antipolo via motorcycle.
Because sleep is life and we did not consider additional time of being stuck in traffic. Thanks to our travel buddy named "Sparky".

9:30 AM - Arrived at Luljetta's Hanging Gardens and Spa.
This should have taken only 30 to 45 minutes, however site-seeing going up the Antipolo zigzag road is also fun. So we really took time and slowed it down.
Since Luljetta's opens at 10:00 AM, upon paying for our registration, we grabbed the opportunity to go out and look for cheap food to eat. We are glad to find a small carinderia and burger stand just outside the resort. Food Budgetting, check!

Five hours (or 7 hours including dressing up, washing up, eating our snacks and taking final dozens of pictures) is not enough to enjoy all this, we haven't been able to experience the following yet:
- Movie Lounge
- Buddha Lounge
- Other breath-taking and picture spots
- Other Meals offered
Will come back to try them all out.
